How can I start a business in the U.S.?

It is relatively simple to form a company in the U.S. However it is somewhat more difficult to obtain the visa which will allow you to reside in the U.S. and manage the business. There are two main vehicles for this: First the U.S. has treaties with a number of countries, including most of Western Europe, which provide for visas for relatively small investors and/or those businesses which trade between the U.S. and their home country. If your country of nationality is not on the list, you could apply for an L-1 visa through a transfer from your company abroad
